Operations & Carrier Manager E-commerce D2C High Profile Client Rugby £Flexible

Zachary Daniels are excited to be partnering with a well recognised retail e-commerce brand who sell a diverse range of products to customers UK wide. We are seeking an Operations & Carrier Manager to support the business by working with 3PL's and in-house logistics team to ensure D2C orders are fulfilled for their customers.

This role will be primarily based in Rugby, but will involve occasional travel to multiple partner sites and in-house logistics sites across the UK.

The ideal candidate must have e-commerce (D2C) carrier experience, have experience of managing 3PL's and have worked with Metapack software. Please note that this is a Head Office role and I'm not seeking someone who is 'site-based'. Experience with General Merchandise is highly desirable due to the wide product type.

The role as Operations & Carrier Manager:

• Owning relationships with the 3PL's with a focus on improving performance and overall customer experience
• Developing initiatives to drive down delivery errors with a strong focus on using data to drive actions
• Mitigating delivery risks to ensure minimal disruption to service working with the in-house and partner logistics teams
• Reducing delivery costs, utilising partner, in house and carrier network
• Using Data to challenge and influence change across the supply chain network

The ideal candidate will have:

• Proven experience gained within a similar Customer Delivery/3PL or Carrier Management role
• Metapack software experience
• Worked within a complex logistics/supply chain network
• Experience of working with General Merchandise from Furniture, DIY, Technology, Cleaning and everything in between!
• Must have head office experience - please note I am not looking for someone who is permanently site based.
• Applicants must be flexible to travel as travel will be expected between UK sites as well as travel into London.

• Flexible on salary for the right person
