1st shift, Monday-Friday - some weekends Starting Pay: $24.50 per hour Benefits Day 1! You will Contribute By: + Complete vehicle pre-trip inspection report.
Records required truck information and needed repairs. + Safely drive Company vehicles to make deliveries to various customers located around the island. + Load delivery equipment into the truck; may load products/pallets into the truck + Deliver products to customers.
Unload products to be received by the customer or check in products with the customer with the invoice; address discrepancies. + Pick up customer payments as needed. Pick up products when returning to the facility as needed.
+ Upon returning to the facility: clean the truck, submit signed invoices, and product returns. + Perform other related duties as assigned. + Drive a box truck type of vehicle to transport and deliver products + Average stops 16-28 stops per day except for 2 days 5 stops only but heavy + Pallets can consist of all types of products + Maneuver the truck into the loading or unloading position + Weigh truck as needed en route and/or at vendors to document weight and conform to state/company regulations + Electronic logging according to I.C.C.
regulations + Inspect the truck before and after trips and submit a report indicating the truck's condition + Read the bill of lading to determine the assignment + Travel Required Environment Store: Freezer (-20F to 0F) Warehouse: Perishable Warehouse (28F to 60F) Warehouse: Grocery Warehouse (50F to 90F) Skills + Class C Driver's license with safe driving record minimum 1 year + Driving experience (preferably delivery driving) + Enjoy working with people. + Quality and customer-service focused.
