Our company is growing rapidly, and we are seeking an experienced Class B CDL Driver (Part-time) in our Liverpool, NY location. The Driver will serve to support our transportation and logistics department in a safe and timely manner. Responsibilities: (include, but are not limited to).
Transport finished goods and or raw materials over land to and from manufacturing plants or retail and distribution centers. Inspect vehicles for mechanical items and safety issues and perform preventative maintenance. Document and log work/rest periods and miles spent driving and retain fuel/toll receipts.
Comply with truck driving rules and regulations (size, weight, route designations, parking and break periods) as well as with company policies and procedures. Maneuver trucks into loading or unloading positions. Collect and verify delivery instructions.
Report defects, accidents or violations immediately Requirements:. At least 21 years of age Valid Class B commercial driver's license (CDL - B) At least 1 year of driving Box Truck and delivery experience Meet PTG's MVR and risk rating qualifications Lift and move products and pallets which may weigh up to 75 pounds No more than 2 Moving Violations in the past 3 years No DUIs in the past 5 years Must be able to get a minimum of 1-year Medical Certificate Hands on experience with electronic equipment and software (GPS, XRS, etc.). The position offers:. $24 per hour First Shift - Monday to Saturday as needed.
