As a Supply Planner, you will play a crucial role in the creation of the supply plan, aligning it with the Sales & Operations Plan of the site. Your expertise in resource utilisation will bring visibility and direction to the Site Operations team and supporting functions. You will be responsible for identifying constraints and implementing mitigation activities to ensure the achievement of Customer Service and Cost objectives.

A day in the life of a Supply Planner:

  • Master Planning and execution of Standard Work for your assigned portfolio.
  • Validate and implement ERP recommendations and exceptions based on internal business knowledge.
  • Ensure the maintenance of stated service and inventory levels while minimising backorders and cycle time.
  • Act as the first point of escalation and mitigation for any barriers to execution of the Supply Plan.
  • Collaborate with on-site purchasing and sales teams to ensure supply alignment with customer demand.
  • Drive process improvement activities and identify risks to supply.

Experience, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Previous experience with SAP is essential.
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing or complex operations environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent analytical skills with a practical business insight.
  • Ability to build effective relationships across functional teams.
  • Knowledge of forecasting, inventory management, and production planning.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently with guidance from managers.
  • Lean manufacturing knowledge and experience is a plus.
